The University of Zakho is excited to announce the International Students Week from September 6 to September 12, 2026, in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. This week-long event is designed to bring together students from around the globe for meaningful discussions and cultural exchanges.

Event Highlights

During International Students Week, participants will have the opportunity to:

Attend seminars on crucial topics such as coexistence, peace education, and more.

Engage in various cultural activities, including music festivals that celebrate the rich diversity of our global community.

The University of Zakho will provide accommodations, including hotel stays and meals, as well as transportation for participants during their stay.

Eligibility Criteria

To participate in International Students Week, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.

Be between the ages of 18 and 45.

Open to male and female students.

Applications will undergo a selection process after submission.

Submission deadline: July 5, 2025

Selection results will be announced on July 15, 2025.
